I always had a doubt whenever I saw that historical look of that tower.I could find any of them in whole of Kukatpally area.I came to know that the Historical Watchtower at Kukatpally, Near BJP office was built by Nawab Taar khan.It has been built back 400 years ago.He built four watch towers on four sides of the village Kukatpally to prevent the attacks or Monitor from the top with the soldiers on it. Eventually after advent of democratic rule in India, It was used as Police station. Now it is used as center to celebrate the Ganesh Festival.
